How do I stop dying alot and How do I get out of Bronze?

Guys I need help. Recently I dropped into Bronze 2 75LP. All of my games are losses because of me. As soon as I get 1 death, when I walk back to lane and it just repeats and I'm 0/9 in no time. It's basically a problem of dying alot. How do I prevent this? I end up losing the game for my whole team.

Basically I dont know what to do when behind. :/

Stay outside of the enemy range but within the range of experience if possible and then farm under tower until you get a gank. If you don't get a gank because you are too far behind or your jungler is busy with other things then just hold on and hope that another lane carries you. If you want to take more control of the game then you need to look for where else on the map that you can be so that you are useful. If you can't really do much in your lane you can always try to push a little and then run to another lane, or ward the enemy jungle and look for junglers that are greeding and clearing low, etc.

tl;dr Wait for your team to carry you or take control and find somewhere else on the map where you can be useful.

Well good on you for asking.

Not knowing specifics, it's hard to give general advice. For instance, some champions can play well from behind and some are utterly useless. A Lee Sin who's behind can build kinda tanky and try to provide utility for his team by kicking enemies away from his carries or even getting picks by kicking a carry towards his teammates. He's better if he's ahead, but he CAN play from behind. Some champs like Nasus and almost always play from behind and become potent late due to scaling. Some, like most assassins... kinda don't have a use if they fall behind and can't assassinate people. Zed can't build tanky and matter much, after all.

So I ask you this OP... what roles and champions do you play? It will help people give you better advice overall.

As basic, general advice I'd say to lean away from high risk/high reward champions if this is a problem you want to improve on. Stay away from the champs that can't do much if they fall behind and pick up champs that have potent mid-late game power... even if they ARE behind. Champs like Jax or Master Yi are simple to use and scale really well. Or if you don't want to go with a champ like that, get into mages with good, strong waveclear and CC. Or maybe a big, meaty champ like Warwick that can build tanky and still do decent damage... as well as picking people off with his ult.

Play the game to CS and get objectives, not get kills... and avoid taking risks if you can. Eventually you'll need to get bolder and make plays to get ahead, but in bronze... just farming better and being the guy who gets dragon or a tower instead of chasing a low health enemy after a fight is all you really need to do.

Well depends what lane and what champions but generally play under tower, don’t fight the enemy as much because they will have a massive advantage on you. Farm get xp and gold and this way you might be behind but they aren’t super fed. Then hopefully your team can take care of the rest.

Also buy a lot of wards, enough so you have vision (if you’re dying to jungler ganks).

It helps to know what lane and what champion though.

Generally I’d focus more on farming and playing safe and less on being super aggressive, but idk if that’s your problem in lane.

I started dying less when I started to think about situations I walked into. Did my jungler just dive/get dived into a 1v2 and I’m at half health/low mana/most of my abilities are on cooldown? Then I probably can’t help him, else I’d die as well and we’d both be behind.

Play safe, understand the pattern of your enemy and respect their damage.

Another tactic I’d suggest is thinking, “If I was my enemy, what would be the best spot to screw me?” Or simple “What spot screws me over the most?” I learned this when Ekko top was Meta (and in every goddamn game) and I ended up being able to predict like, 90% of where his W would land (always in a favorable position to him or unfavorable for me. Either it was on top of him as we were fighting, or he launched it behind me to cut off my escape. It got boring after awhile). Predicting favorable and unfavorable positioning is a key to surviving.

Play safe, play smart, then when you’ve mastered that apply it to some aggressive plays if you’re up to it.

Can you put more info ? about the lane you main and champions you play , and it's better if you don't play ranked for while until you main like 2 champions in each lane

I'm mostly a top laner, but honestly I'm completely trash at all lanes except support because you don't have to focus on CSing and the enemy movements at the same time. I played alot of Janna/Taric. But sometimes I go and play Olaf/Jax/ any bruiser in the top lane.

I like to play tanks also.

Play safe and kill someone if you know it's safe and have the chance?
