When this guy is FOTM, when you see him picked, it's basically a fucking game of luck.
Either he's good and ravages the enemy team, or he sucks and goes 0/10 in 15 minutes.
Unless they fucking rework his entire kit into a healthy state, I hope he'll just keep getting nerfed over and over again, never coming back on the meta.

He just snowballs so hard. I sometimes too think he needs a nerf, however, with some CC he is useless. I do however feel you, 7/10 games I play there is a Yassuo. Why? Because he is easy to play, you can feed and still perform well and get kills with the massive crits and insane damage, and you don't need many items to get shit done. Great champion with a great kit, but so easy to snowball, and so easy to abuse if played right.
Yas isn't massively broken. Who was the jungler because that matters?
Yasuo is useless later vs lockdown and AP burst mages/assasins.
My only issue with Yasuo is how binary he is; Shove him into a team with Janna supp, Malphite top and Cho'Gath jungle for instance, and he has free ults all day, meaning kills because of his very high natural damage. Stick him with a team that has no knockup, and automatically he's both harder to play and harder to win as, because you actually have to get your ult off on your own.
I say if anything happens to him, just make his ult only work with his own knockups but buff him a bit overall in exchange.
