This isn't the first thread that confronts the 1 server issue, but i read a lot of people saying "its not good financially or for game stability" then please explain whey every other game has at LEAST 2? Is Riot really full of cheapskates or just stupid enough to think we would buy that explanation?
Whats wrong with the one server? For the most part everyone gets great ping. The only people who complain are people with really shitty internet.
Because other games unnecessarily fragment their playerbase to gain the appearance of having more players by having 'so many full servers'.
Riot just has the necessary amount of servers for each region to function so that we can all have the fastest queue times with the best matchmaking they can get. Complain all you want about the matchmaking, I know I have in the past, but go into other multiplayer games and you'll find that league has spoiled you with how good it is at matching similarly skilled teams in a quick and reliable manner.
