Why Lux's passive doesn't work with electrocute , like the old thunder lord ?

As a Lux main , I miss the old way of playing lux with thunder lord , e or q then aa with lux's passive actives thunder lords ,which was doing some damage, now i have to use additional thierd ability or aa to active it.

Choosing Arcane Comet , make her kinda boring, just poking enemy from a distance, sometime they block it Yasuo , and sometimes they dodge, specially in higher elo.

It become harder to play against Assassins Zed, Talon ,Fizz ,... , if i can't deal equal damage to them.

Lux is an Assassin , not an ~~Artillery ~~!

What? I'm a mage, not an assassin. Traditionally I was never able to 1 shot people from 100-0 (and still shouldn't be able to imo, but power creep is real). It always required poke before hand. You're much better taking comet. It doesn't do as much damage upfront, but it's actually more effective because it's a consistent proc and available much more frequently.

Sure, the thunderlords interaction was fun and felt satisfying, but electrocute is stronger than it was and would have ended up being an abuse case. At least you're still able to proc it with multiple spells / auto attacks. Claiming comet is somehow boring doesn't really make sense, since the core of my playstyle is literally just poking people from a distance.

I suggest giving it another chance. It really is the best Keystone you can take if you don't care about your allies. Or if you're good at frequently auto attacking your enemies during laning / CSing / trading, you could trade that out for Summon Aery. The damage really adds up if you're consistent with your poking.
