Why is locking in required?

There are countless times where I get punished and lose lp because I'm fumbling between two champions and don't have enough time to lock in. I think it's super annoying and unnecessary to add this feature. please remove the lock in requirement for draft. its not helping anybody

It's to help process the Champion Selecting time to be faster, instead of wasting tons of time waiting for the countdown to 0.

If you know how to counter certain champions by using tons of plays accompanied with tons of button clickings, then I don't see an issue of not knowing how to left click the big yellow button once.
