No. Its not a serious mode worth keeping around. Its just spam the broken shit and see who wins. Not much depth or skill.

Plus it brings out the worst little kids that play.

just because you dont appreciate it and the level of player that participate in the ultra rapid fire game doesnt mean u cant let other people who likes it play.... im pretty sure there is alot of people who would approve your point of view but i still think that this game mode can help people find a little a something in this new game mode to appreciate whit their friends that they didnt see in LoL before, as a new player i recommended it too my budz because you could choose a really serious game or a little laid-back ultra rapid fire game dont you think?

For the majority of players, it would get old quick. There is hardly any depth or strategy to it.

Its a fun game mode for some, and overall, but only as a treat. Lol is about a more competitive style of play, and adding a permanent mode that amounts to essentially Saturday morning cartoons goes against the grain.

I like some of the other modes way more then urf but don't want to play them permanently.

There is a certain kidish quality to people who want urf 24/7. This isn't the game to get your arcade jollies, if you want a permenant arcade game this ismt it.

Extremely high player dropoff in urf as well as all other featured game modes after a few days The mode is seriously no fun at all once the meta is solved

I hear you, but i have to disagree.... i sure dont play at your level but i had so much fun whit my friends playing this game mode and we didnt always win, some <times we got abused but you know what? thats for the sport, if riot could leave us the choice of playing either normal or ultra rapid fire that would be the best!!!!

  1. It's great to see someone more interested in having fun rather than competitive play. It's a rare thing, and a good quality to have. But as you grow in skill and experience you will begin to be frustrated by things that are strictly unfair/ overpowered because they allow people who are less skilled than you to win. The more time you invest the more frustrating it is to lose because something was just stupid broken.

  2. The other thing you'll notice once you reach level 30 is that there is an evershifting meta in ranked. It shifts due to the constant balance changes and the introduction of new factor, such as items champs and even new jungle creatures. The factors that make URF mode fun( low cdr, resourceless abilities, etc) are all important factors that are used to balance normal games. What this means is that in normal play there are overpowed champions, but they are constantly changing because Riot is constantly making balance changes. URF does not have those balance changes. That's what makes it fun. BUT, it means that the champions that are overpowered, remain overpowered. So there will always be champions that have a ridiculously unfair advantage. The game mode becomes pick those champions or lose. And that is a problem for obvious reasons.

Ha-ha I didn't notice this one was here so I left something on the other post, this is what I sad, "I'm sure they're scared of one of their best game modes ending up like Dominion. Even though I love URF, I can see myself getting sick of it when I have nothing to do in it."

thats exactly my point, when u need something new that aram or regular game cant give you, that when the URF mode is great, make us people play longuer instead of switching pc game we stay and play on! URF is great please hear my call! we just want to play more LoL after all!!!!!!!

It loses its value if you have it on all the time. Last year it got stale after about a week.
