The Riot Games Balance team does not care about you or your feedback.

League of Legends has around 100 million active monthly players, and the Riot Games Balancing team doesn't care for a single one of them. They don't care for their enjoyment or their complaints. They just care about Pro Play. They will buff any champions as long as it provokes interest in Pro Play.

"And he picked Riven!" Says the caster excitedly as the first game of worlds rolls out, "We haven't seen her picked for years now! This game will be fun!" He states... Well, of course she will be picked in worlds when you keep buffing her. Meanwhile, she was dominating patch 9.16-9.18 With a win rate of 54%+ And a pick rate of 10%+ (Right now both have decreased though).

I still remember the words from a Riot Games employee "We have pulled back the nerfs on aatrox, so that we can find a change that helps decrease his Pro Play presence but still keep him healthy and fun for soloq". These were the words said between patch 9.17 and 9.18. Before patch 9.18 rolled out Riot Games responded with "So far we couldn't create a balance good for both soloq and pro play (excuse me?) So we are nerfing him for now." And nerf him they did, quite hard in fact. Aatrox is currently sitting in 43.25% win rate and a 5.4% pick rate, he is ranked the toplaner with the least win rate, followed by irelia with a 45% win rate, that is a difference of 1.75%. Well, I'm gullible and naive, so i will remember your promise, nerf him now, but change him so he is healthier later, even though I know that is one of your many lies.

I used Riven and Aatrox as examples here, but there are many others. Fiora and Sylas, Evelynn and Yuumi. One little fun fact is that Riven, fiora and Evelynn are sitting around 49-50% win rate, while aatrox, sylas and yuumi are at around 43-45% win rate.

Since you want to make Worlds so "fun" and "unique" and an "experience different from the rest" then push out the changes, but at least revert them after. Or have the decency to just state "Yes, we do care about Pro play a lot more than soloq"

Ahh your last paragraph, you misunderstand the way of the rito gam. They usually won't just revert the dumbass buffs and nerfs they did exclusively for pro play, they instead say "well preseason is pretty soon so like the balance will change lol just deal with it."

Reminds me of season 7. "We can't nerf Ardent Censor because Worlds is like 6 months away. Okay it's after Worlds and we finally nerfed it, but all this other imbalance as a result of the meta for the whole year changing? Well preseason is 2 to 3 months out so we can't change it."

To be fair, most balance complaints on here all boil down to this: "This thing beat me, it's OP and needs nerfs. No, I have never played the champion before why should I have to understand their kit? Yeah, their kit naturally counters my champion's kit. I also didn't itemize against them at all, but it doesn't matter, I'm the best player in the world so if anything beats me it couldn't be for any other reason besides it meaning that thing is OP."

Riot in general doesnt care about feedback, not just the balance team.

You do realise that we could look at it the other way around, right?

Ziggs Swain both have super high win rates, but are not seen in pro play. Yet they don't receive buffs...

Diana is never seen in pro play AND have low win rate, however she does not receive buffs.

Your logic is not consistent. Also, balancing for low elo is super hard, because you essentially need to dumb down champions to make them viable and increase base stats too much to make them good. So you miss the other side of the story. I do think they should balance around high elos and pro play because only there you see the true power of some champs.

I'm so fucking sad of Sylas, one of the most fun champions getting destroyed. First Aatrox and now him, my two main FUN picks jungle are gone

They also don't exist.

There is no 'balance team'. That term was made up by the fanbase.

Remember when they said that they would change Kayn but they will still keep him viable for top? Just to appear one week after and say: "You know, we actually just want him to be a jungler."

Why should we belief anything that Riot says nowadays? Just don't expect anything but the worst from them.

That way, they can't dissapoint you.

Here’s the thing, where I agree riot doesn’t listen to feedback, I also see that some players’ feedback just isn’t worth listening to. Take for example people who complain about tanks, when you bring up champions like rammus and malphite they say “those are different and tank malphite can 1 shot” when you show them the stats of a full tank malphite and calculate his dmg they throw insults and leave. This is the majority of players on the boards. They don’t run the stats they don’t check the numbers of that champion. Now is this all players who provide feedback? No, but to have to sift through a large number of “feedback” daily where majority of it is just players ranting for playing poorly can become pretty tiring and not that beneficial. So at this point it’s more beneficial to take what is said on the boards lightly and not as actual feedback because the integrity of that feedback is compromised heavily. I know this isn’t what you guys wanna hear but it’s the truth
