I've been playing with unlocked camera for the past 3 games and I still can't get used to it. My winrate is going down and I keep getting dizzier and dizzier everytime I try to move it around. I always see pro players move their camera around and it seems so easy but when I do it it simply sucks. I even started enjoying League less when I found out that playing with unlocked is better. Can anybody give me some advice so I don't give up on unlocked?
Get used to it. You can press Spacebar to center the cam.
I'm sitting at d3 playing mostly locked but also main top lane and fighters/tanks. In team fights I usually unlock to look around and do that as well to look around occasionally but I'd say 70% of the game I'm locked camera. Don't worry about playing unlocked, maybe if you play poker mages you should unlock or other ranged champions but if u play mostly melee don't worry about it.
Same thing happened to me when I started using unlocked camera more, but maybe try it out in bots first and get used to it?
I'm used to just holding space all the time. But I've got fairly big hands, I dunno how comfortable that'd be for you. I do that so I can unlock it for just the brief periods when I really NEED to move the camera.
Some melees such as Singed do not require you to unlock the camera that often, however, playing ALWAYS with it will give you more fog of war awareness.

i usually unlock the camera while dead or when i need to aim a long range ult. i do it allot with cait.
