Very simple, I have been gold V for a while and gave up hope on climbing within the given time so I decided to stay gold V,
I got pretty lucky because I was at 0 LP, lost 3 games in a row over 2 weeks or someting and I havent been demoted yet,
my question, can I get demoted from just not playing from gold V to silver I?

B00B001 votesyes you could drop from challenger back to bronze in one season, thats just an example. you usually get a 3-5 game buffer on a new division, slightly increased on a brand new league. i think a minimum of 5 on silver/gold/plat/dia 5 etc.
