Why does riot not look at riven?

Riven's mobility and cc just seems way overwhelming. When laning against her you can poke her till shes 2 hp but the minute she goes on you, you are dead. She immediately dashes to you with a big shield then followed by 2 ccs and a ton of damage. Well if you cant 1v1 her then get a gank right? Nope because if you try to gank her lane she can easily get away with her number of dashes and a shield, and if you get close enough to her to get into melee range then she just then you just get stunned and she dashes away again. Im only Gold 4 so its understandable if im missing some game-changing outplay i can use in lane or when ganking but with my knowledge, i just think shes a r%%%%%ed champ and needs to be changed, I dont know how but changed somewhere.

honestly the way id nerf riven as to not gut her is by giving her e shield a small duration like 1 sec so she actually has to time it to effectively block dmg instead of just getting a giant fucking shield to trade with

They did look at Riven, but even looking at her drops her HP to 0

Yeh, thats what the problem is, its so hard to figure out how they could change her while keeping her viable. She does take skill to play and pull off right but if you do know the champ than its very hard to win lane against her without just sitting under turret to not allow snowballing, because she has little to no poke from distance. It would be ideal if they put her abilities on a longer cooldown but again it would make her 100x worse. Although i do like Dr Dog's idea of changing the duration of her shield, because it would not ruin the champ in anyway.

Btw for those of you that are just downvoting my post id like to hear your reasons. I feel that ive been somewhat un-biased and ive stated that riven does indeed take skill but is just a bit overtuned. Again im just a gold player so i dont fully know what im talking about thats why im asking this on the boards.
