Reworks

Are there statistics on what champions are played during rework/after rework? I feel like most champions after rework are still almost the same ratio. Maybe even less because players don't want to play the new versions. A few of them have made some champions better, however I think over half the reworks done could have been just rearranged into nerfs/buffs for said champion. Any opinions on this? I myself have quit various champions because I simply don't like them anymore, it's not fun.
