I was playing an ARAM yesterday and got Evelynn selected as my champion. I figured I'd just see how it goes instead of re-rolling. Well compared to the OP pubstomp that Evelynn was in 2010, she's about as threatening as a pool noodle.

One problem that I've noticed, is that her stealth detection makes it extremely difficult to close width. But if you're in a bush, and enemies get to close to the bush they're automatically aware that you're in said bush. So why is this fair? No other champion has a dead giveaway of their presence in a bush, with the exclusion of wards and other provisional tools. To me this seems like it is almost potentially a bug, or something that should certainly be considered to be reworked.

And no they can't tell you are in the bush. The only time they can can is if they have a ward or are in said bush.

It wasn't always unheard of for map-specific balance changes to come out, you know.

Enemies are only notified of Eve's presence if they could already see her.

I have not tested anything, but item 2047 might be responsible.

The issue was probably that the bush had sight, someone had attacked in the buff, therefore the bush became "visible" and gave away your presence.

I've never played Evelynn ARAM because I rarely play that mode, but in Summoner's Rift, she's one of my main junglers and she does quite a bit of damage when she's built hybrid AP/AD, ( item 3146 item 3153 item 3031 item 3124 with a lot of speed say with item 3274 , I've won maybe 85% of my games when I played her.
