like I don't get it, I have seen 4 kayles in the past 2 weeks build this.... why do people do this... kayle is one of the few hypercarries who can actually 1v5 a game

In the past, I've built kayle just about 3 different ways. The AP/AS fighter build, (her most common build) a Full AP Mage build, and a support build.
With the support build, I mainly focused on CDR to offer as much up time on her ult. along with bolstering her healing, and the slow on her Q. Mostly I just used her E to proc the tribute passive. This was a time before Redemption and healing power though. I mostly picked her so I could translate into AP, if needed too.
I would think full AP would probably be best if you wanted a mix of Damage and support. Though if you were going utility mage, sub out the more damage focused items (Penetration mostly) for raw stats, (and possibly healing power.) And make sure to maximize your CDR.
All of that said, I think the split push AS build is still the best. And that especially what I would expect from the top lane.
