Why are there more and more rude players?

I've been playing league for about 2 months,around time when omega squad teemo came out. I've noticed that when I first started league all my teammates were being very nice and supportive with each other and I've always enjoyed my time playing with them and the game itself. However as I moved up in level I've noticed that there are more and more rude players which ruins my game experience and also causes our team to lose.These ppl think they're OP and start beating others down. I'm not saying I'm an OP player or I'm super skilled at lol, I do mess up and make mistakes during games, but I feel like ppl could give more nicer and supportive responses instead of being rude and being assholes. Say today I tried a game with Sona and it was my second time so im not skill at her yet then one of our teammates Zed just started calling me stupid, noob, saying I fed and how I should uninstall league, he was 3/11 kda. What's worst is that our adc ashe join in at it telling me to fk off blah blah, they together just "helped" eachother at insulting me and my skills and in game avoided me. I just decided to ignore chat at this point because I dont need this kind of bs. The result was we lost my kda was 2/8/8 ik pretty bad but out whole team kind of screwed up. This kind of situation had happened to me and my friends so I'm wondering how to deal with these toxic players should I encounter these kind of ppl again wothout being super pissed off myself.
