Do I get punished for this?

Currently LoL is undergoing maintence, and because of that I just lost connection to my ranked game and cant rejoin. Am I going be punished for this even though i had no control over it?

They would almost certainly enable loss forgiven when taking down the platform, so no you wouldn't get punished.

Depending on the nature of the issue, it may end up that the game doesn't even get recorded at all (so wont even show up in match history).

Very unlikely you'd receive an punishment or penalty for something on riots end. People often times people blame riot for issues not riots fault (i.e. the issue is actually somewhere between riot and the player, or the player themselves is the issue) and then get mad, but full on maintenence or server issues riot does enable loss prevention for.

Nope. If riot causes the DC they wipe the game.

Of course, you think Riot is competent enough to tell the difference?

Wondering the same. I was in the middle of a ranked match when suddenly we DCed.

I just lost 3 LP because of it.......I went into champ select and when I was trying to ban someone it wouldnt let me ban......then the timer ran out and I got a message saying I wasn't connected.....only option was to click the Exit button that appeared.

Client loggin is disabled but when I checked op.gg im down 3LP now.

Ranked games dropped due to maintenance are stricken from the record.
