Should Autofill be taken out of the game?

In my honest opinion Riot has fucked over so many people with this new autofill shit. honestly who cares if you have to wait another 3 minutes to find a game. If someone does not play the support roll then they should not be forced to play it because it can cause extended waiting times. From my experience with this auto-fill all it does is make more people toxic and it causes them to lose more and more games. I personally hate playing the support roll, i find it very boring and i feel useless in the game. It also gets very annoying that every time my auto-fill becomes unprotected i automatically get the support roll. This is something extremely stupid that riot has put in and i really really want it taken out because its fucking stupid to force someone to play a roll they are not comfortable with or do not enjoy playing or they are just simply not good at that specific roll. Let the queues be 3 min longer than normal instead of forcing someone to play a roll and become salty/toxic about it and lose more games or be put at the risk of becoming chat banned. Or even it will save the team mates from being toxic and blaming the support for being shit because they are forced to play something they do not wish to play

Thanks, And FUCK YOU RIOT

I'll repost what I told someone yesterday about autofill;

It's not autofill's fault, it's the time between the Old Champion Select and now having pampered players by not (or rarely) making them play outside their comfort roles. Pick order was the law of the land for a long time and people were ok with it; give them a taste of Primary/Secondary only for a while and it's like the Wild West we call Pick Order never existed.

I'd love to see a chart on how frequently players in each role are getting autofilled and how long the wait is when it's activated. My impression from the community reaction is that autofill activates too soon, so maybe that could be loosened up a bit if that's the case.

Other than that, it might be worthwhile discussing how to make players more open to autofilling. Having experience in every role is actually very useful for learning the game as a whole so that you can work with your team better, so filling isn't inherently a bad thing. Could there be LP/MMR or currency incentives? Should players simply be educated on the benefits I mentioned?

I remember when people had to fight in champ select every game to get the role they wanted. this is way better.

Autofill is amazing, I'm only plat 1 atm but before autofill it would take me forever to get matches. just open your mind and play support once in a while, you can carry games if you know what you are doing, just like everyone else.
