Getting from gold to platinum

Hi so i have been playing league for 4 years now and for the past 2 seasons i have been hardstuck gold, like 1000+ games a season hardstuck. I have switched between adc top and jung throughout each season depending on how tolted i feel playing a role. this season (season 8) i managed to hit my peak of gold 1 100lp two times in a row but i was unnsuccesful to complete them because in botyh games i bugged out eitehr in client oor loading screen and resulted in 2 wins and 3 losses. after that i have just tilted all the way back down to gold 5 and i cant seem to crawl back out. Has someone who has experienced what i have gone through and made it to the other side got any advice on how to accelerate my climb and end this tilt spree.
