Considering the majority of players are in bronze-silver then yeah plats considered upper.

Statistically yes. But if you ask some elitists nothing except korean number 1 player is low elo. And the korean 1. is just lucky and in reality bad.

I like to consider myself upper class rank, and i rarely ever lose against people gold and below... But theres still a lot i don't know and i still have the potential to get fucking destroyed by diamond players

What I think is that there are a lot of people downvoting discussions for absolutely no reason. Probably some bronze 5 kid who's angry at the world.

I'd say platinum is middle class. Bronze and silver tie in with each other, gold and platinum are a step up, and I kind of feel like Diamond and up is a great achievement.

The biggest issue in plat is everyone, myself included, seem to think they are better than they actually are. You are defined by your worst games, not your best ones, and you have to iron out the mistakes. It seems to be the consensus of most master tier streamers/players that diamond 2 is where the players are all pretty good. I'd say upper middle class, not really high class till you hit that mid diamond point.

Plat is certainly upper class, plat is not much of an elo you can just carry your way out of all the time. It takes a lot of planning, effort, team cooperation

plat is good, the players are hardly distinguishable from the top .1% but.. BUT!

they dont play enough, they dont make the best decisions, they are mainly one trick ponies or meta only players.

the best players are just that, the best, and you are literally trying to split the top 15000 from the top 500, but let me ask you this.... why?

a plat riven main can be better than some diamond riven player, but maybe the diamond player plays more than 1 champ, ya know?
