SMURFING

OK, so I was in my silver 3 promos, I know, who cares about silver, but it seems like im playing against more smurfs than anyone even in silver. The twitch went something like 22/2 or so and claimed to be a plat playing on his friends account. So obviously I was angry because I cant ever seem to catch a break in my promos and at the end of the game I am the one who gets reported. So whats the deal here, anyone give a shit about playing fair games anymore in ranked cause Riot seems to be forgetting about smurfs who just screw up my game play for nothing but fun, and there seems to be a lack of a report button for smurfs. Regardless I've spent a good amount of money to support Riot and I am being let down very hard right now. I wish to continue to play but at the same time stuff like this makes me want to quit all together. Riot please find away to stop smurfing, not because you are afraid to lose customers, but because you should feel a loyalty to your customers.

Smurfing is not against the rules of the game, but that person claiming to be on his friends account is not allowed. Smurfs are a part of the game so your best option is to learn from them rather than getting angry about them. I have played with and against challenger/high diamond smurfs and it does make the game a little less fun but it does allow you to learn from them.

well dang man I appreciate your positive outlook I suppose, and I guess the thing to learn here is "life isn't fair"

Just report the person and even tell the other team to report him. But raging in chat and getting reported is your own fault. Just accept what happened and move on. Throwing a fit only hurts your own play and your teams morale.

chances are that person was lying. People have a really good game and try to boost their own ego by yelling everyone they are smurfing. Go look at his match history, if hes doing it consistently every single game than yeah maybe he is smurfing but if its one or two games total than hes just lying to look cool on the interent

Smurfs who level an account and stuff arent really a problem because their MMR will before long adjust to their skills. However if someone plays on other persons account and this person has lower MMR than player THEN it leads to facestomps.
