Bard Q

So I have recently been playing a lot of Bard because he is free and hilarious but I feel like the tooltip is lying to us. His Q just doesnt feel that wide in game it seems to match up with the actual ability effect. Does anyone have any info on this I want to run a test tomorrow on various objects to see
