Confused about Cass
I'm trying to understand the thought pattern behind the new cass. I stopped playing about a year ago due to multiple reasons, but up until that point I was playing cass like a junky. She was a great high risk, high reward niche character that when done right became deadly at level 2 and only got sweeter with time. (People complained about finishing stacks, but it really wasn't always necessary for winning). She would punish you hard if you missed even a single Q, but the rewards for getting the 3 E's in when you landed it was like a coming to Jesus moment. Her range was short, but your damage was more than high enough to compensate.
Nastalgia aside, the new cass is completely different. It wasn't just minor tweaks or balancing, but an entirely new champ. She no longer has any burst, her poke is almost non-existent, and her mobility even worse than before. Laning is useless as there is no way to harass enemy champs since her new e (that people were complaining about having to utilize before? I don't know what they wanted either as most champs have a spell they abuse way more than the others) feels rediculously slow and both her q and w are pretty negligible/dodgeable. Her poisons don't deter anything either as they have no real lasting effect. In the end she went from my favorite, go-to mid laner, to being at best a support that is going to end up played less than old yorick. Teemo is a much better mid laner and his poisons at least do dmg. In the end I just don't understand what you were even hoping to accomplish here? Did you want to make her now a support? Did you just feel she had too much burst? Maybe I'm missing something but I can't really even zone with her anymore since people know she won't put out much damage and have no problems just jumping on your face, leaving your best case scenario as last hitting under a tower all game with almost no feeling of reward.
