The ability to share gold.... with rules to make it fair.

Rule 1: Can't do it until X time has been reached in game (example: 25 min) Rule 2: Can toggle option from base store. Players can choose another player to receive the gold they make for the rest of the game. Rule 3: Once you choose that option you can not undo it. Your name is removed or grayed from that list, and you can not earn gold for the rest of the game.

I feel this solves a few problems. The 25 min wait means people can't abuse it. If you are playing support, then there is a chance that late game you could be helped by the adc you have been helping all game. If you had a bad start to a game or you're struggling your teammates can help you out. Kill stealing is less stressful, in that, at least if they get their full build faster then their extra gold at some point might get kicked your way. Creates an additional strategy and opportunity for friendlier games. Finally it gets everyone their builds fast late game and if everyone is around the same level and has their builds then it's a game of skill at that point. Not who has the most items.

"Support. Give me a 1000 gold." "Oh, well see its just... I earned this gold and..." "YOU HAVE SIGHT STONE. I NEED A THIRD INFINITY EDGE. NOW. GIVE. ME. YOUR. GOLD."

the point is, if you've made your full build then all the gold you make after that is pointless. why not have the option to help another one of your teammates. in addition if someone is being a jerk then his team might choose not to help him. promotes more friendly games i would think

No one reaches full build in 25 minutes in any game ever, except maybe vs. AI.

New meta, 0 item support gives everybody else his gold.

Also make your weakest players on your team give your most fed person his gold, because damage scales with more stats.

wont work and will never happen,

people used to do this in old school dota where they would pool money for a couple of divine rapiers and an aegis, usually on some range dude with lothars like sniper
