Does warwicks blood scent activate without vision?
Does Warwick need vision for his bloodscent's passive to trigger? I say no but my fiance is arguing to the death with me

No, he gains a trail towards them that he can follow
to trigger yes on the passive portion yes... you need vision of them going below, not the active. or you press w for a champion in rage but as soon as its triggered either way it will remains in fog.
for example you get W lvl 2 you wont have a passive proc or a trail of thier jungler going below 50% unless they walk into a place with vision
It does not rely on vision to activate

It does not require vision. Enemy Evelynn fell below 50% taking their Blue camp, I'm at Dragon and have no vision, I suddenly get trail. I start following it, Eve hides in bush (invis), but it doesn't matter because the blood trail has a concentrated blur inside the bush and not leading out of it, so I know exactly where she is, without ever having vision of her
Neither the passive or active portion require vision of the target to allow Warwick to begin tracking an enemy. If anyone on the map falls below 50% max health, Warwick will begin tracking them regardless of whether he has vision of them or not. Likewise, if Warwick activates the ability, as long as an enemy champion is within the 4000 unit range, he will begin tracking them.
Update: Tested it in customs. bloodscents passive does need vision at some point to trigger
War can see any enemy champ under 50% hp nomatter here they are
