MMR confusion

Hello, I am curious as to whether or not someone can help me understand mmr better because right now I am apparently in a rut according to op.gg.na. Not to long ago I fell into ELO hell, as it were (bronze 3 =/) from silver 3. It happened slowly but it happened. it was crazy but anyways, I climbed out in about a month back to silver 5. Once I hit silver 5 I hung out for a bit until about 2 weeks ago I began climbing quite well and started carrying games again fairly consistently. To add to that I started maining Ekko and went on a solid 30/12ish (have to double check I'm on my phone) run with him and a few support blitz, lee jungles and a few random games thrown in and I flew up to silver 2. Then I fell back to silver 3, won a game and went into promos, got a free win for it, failed promos, troll troll trynd bot int. Feeding ( the game should be present on my list for proof) went back then won 3 in a row tonight and am back in silver 2 promos with a free win. Op.gg for some reason hasn't updated beyond my blitz game a from yesterday. Anyway again, my question is what is the deal with my MMR? Op.gg is a rough estimate but it claimes I'm at 1050 which is like bronze 2 according to my research and I have by far leveled out my losing streaks from the past in the last week because I have had 4 consistent 5 game winning streaks and never more than a 2-3 game losing streak. I even had a 9 game win streak in the mix that wasn't followed by more than 1 loss. I understand it's preseason and the hole was dug 2 months ago but I am earning around 20-24 lp a game, losing 10-15, winning consistently, losing rarely and yet my MMR has me 400+ points under my rank? Why am I earning larger Lp than I am losing If the system believes I am that vastly over ranked?

PS. I took about a year off from the end of season 4 I was silver 1 and started playing again this late August. I was originally placed b4 in promos 3-7 but got up to s3 in about a week, even skipped a full tier 1 or 2 times in the process and then this all happened 5 weeks later in late October/November.

My understanding. Op.gg and such looks at other players estimates there mmr then estimates mmr based on that. Duo on your team or enemy teams greatly distorts that because there is a mmr adjustment for duo queues. So your mmr can be 300 or so off just from duoing . also I think it uses an average so if you make a huge jump it might not adjust as quickly as riots system.

If you are getting good LP gains like you say, then your MMR is good. Feel free to ignore op.gg's estimate.

Edit: I just checked yours just in case, and it says you've got a lot of duo games. That skews the estimate.
