So in the past 24hrs i have played 13 games and of those 13 games i have won 12. I am currently at 76 lp and was wondering how many wins i must have to get to at least silver 5? It seem you lose more lp from 1 loss then you gain for like 2 wins.
Mysticman891 votesLP gains/losses depend on your mmr relative to your division, so if your mmr is lower than expected your gains will be small and your losses large. If you win more than 50% of the time your mmr will start creeping back up.
For people with about average mmr (i.e. +20/-20), it'd be 7 games per division (5 to get 100 lp, 2 for the series), with an extra game for the best of 5 promo series to silver. So from b4 0 to silver 5, that'd be 22 wins, assuming no losses. Around 1 extra game per loss. You can do more accurate math with your owen numbers though.

Mysticman891 votesIt's probably worth noting that you can't actually check your mmr anywhere, as it's a hidden number and third party sites just have estimates. The best you can do is look at your LP gains/losses to get an idea of how your mmr compares to what it 'should' be relatively speaking, but actual numbers aren't typically available.
