What would happen if we remove support roles completely out of league of legends

So i was thinking of this awhile now.. What will happen if riot decides to remove support roles completely... Let's say they actually do it and now we are solo qing every game with 3 other people... So the game is going to be 4v4... Adc's will go bot like the normally do, jungler will be in his position like normal... top will play top and mid will play mid... The only difference is.. We now do not have a useless role that almost nobody likes. Here are all the benefits i can think of...

1)People will wait WAY LESS to play a game as all the roles would be fun so expect 30 sec MAX waiting time if that happens. Not 5-20 mints. 2)Here is the best part... NO MORE AUTO FILL!!! yeeeey. People will play whatever they want to play, they won't be forced to go in a role that they don't know how to play... People will be happy, toxicity will go down. Since it would be a 4v4 we won't even notice any difference. In high elo it is proven that the most games that end up with a loss are the games with people playing a position they don't know only because autofill is deciding their role for them. It makes the game unbalanced.. It makes ranks unbalanced. Supports are not necessary in league and the idea is retarded. It worked well in MMORPGS but let's be real.. it doesn't work with league of legends... It's a dead weight. Whats fakers role? Mid. Whats imaqtpie role? adc.. Nightblue3? yassuo? Hell even girls.. what's pokimanes main role? Or lilypichu's, or any other girl that plays league. I do not know a single one famous league player that plays main support an that's because support is a useless role/dead weight. Why riot doesn't make new support champions anymore? That's because nobody cares about a support champion.. 3)People will SHINE literally... Those players who are good at the game will shine even more in a 4v4 match up.. Why? Because the guy who is good does not have to carry 4 other players anymore but only 3. Thus, he will be more useful on a team fight and the game will be more balanced. Impossible games where you can't win no matter what you do will be less than now. People will not hard stuck in a rank for too long, it will be easier to climb. Since ranks will be more balanced people will be less toxic. 4) Support items are a joke, riot spends so much time trying to balance supports and support items in a way to not make them too strong for mid laners or anyone else to use them while its pretty much impossible because support is a broken role. The game would have been way better if all this time and resources were spent elsewhere. Riot will be able to focus on updates that actually matter and improving the game faster and we would be in a more advanced state of the game now.

Honestly the only negative i see is wtf are we gonna do with all those support champions if that happens and to that i will say.. remake them, make them mid laners or anything else.. This will be a huge change for the game but the positives outnumber the negatives and so people overall will take it as a positive change in my opinion. Either that, or riot needs to fix the support and make it more challenging and fun to play. What do you think?

Lots of champions become unviable. ADCs will not go bot for the same reasons they don't go top. Lots of people lose an existing role that they enjoy.

a person with something assassin related in his name with the team builder icon for assassins wanting supports out of the game well that's a no brainer it would be like an adc wanting assassins removed from league or tanks wanting adcs/bruisers removed from the game

You seem like you want a DPS battle royale or something. It wouldn't make for a bad game mode, but you falsely assume everyone is interested in being a one dimensional damage dealer. Not everyone that plays is a teenager who gets excited about seeing big numbers or killstreaks pop up on their screen. Plenty of folks like support and non-damage focused tank roles :)

I love playing the support roll. And many other people do too. I have no idea what you are talking about "no one plays it".

I've been autofilled to every other position besides support, so getting rid of that roll would not get rid of autofill.

Support is the most fun position in my opinion. All you focus on doing early game is poking and laning. None of this cs garbage others have to worry about. Late game you get those sick saves and peels. Can I carry as a support? If I pick the right champion, sure. Do I feel I am valuable to the team? Way more valuable than probly about 60% of top laners I play with. (no offence top laners, it's not you, it's the position your roll is in right now)

Also, an ADC cannot lane by themselves. otherwise they would for the solo xp if nothing else. Most of them are too easily ganked in the long lane.

lol, supports carry the adc out of lane phase far more often than the reverse case. Supports can definitely carry games, too. If they couldn't, you wouldn't be complaining about their role.

I specifically remember an LCS game last year being completely controlled by an Alistar. I think it was Mata?

When I get autofilled, I always get put in the jungle. So there's that.

I don't agree with your "flat out remove them without any exploration" yet I don't think it's something completely useless (coming from a support main) and don't want to judge it too quickly like many others do. But be sure to not only post such a stuff because you're frustrated.

Removing any class from the game is at least worth an exploration - but only in special gamemodes that are temporary and analysed. In the very process of that Riot can maybe learn more about the value and the goals of said classes and what removal of tham can lead to. I think it's definately an opportunity to learn, even if you don't see that side. Removing a class can lead to gaps in the way league is being played and come to cocnlusions how to design these classes or other classes that might overlap with these.
