So i am wondering if how all of us Tristana players think the new update is working personally i don't like it and riot should sort out their priorities with nerfs i don't think that Tristana was in need of a nerf and i may have to find a new main because of it. Also her old E was her early game strength and the new one doesn't really do enough damage to help her out early game ALSO HER FREAKING COOLDOWNS STILL TAKE TOO LONG!!!!!! this is ridiculous her shortest cooldown is over 10 seconds please shorten them basically i think that the new Tristana would work fine if they just buffed up her E a bit and reduced her cooldowns.

Tristana's E seems to explode instantly if an enemy Vlad pools it right before it lands.

Other than that, it feels weak in lane early on because she can't build it up easily.

Yeah its good in concept maybe they should give it higher base damage and have it scale less so it doesn't become too overpowered

They exacerbated her lane weakness with all the stat nerfs, and how easy it is to keep her new E from being relevant. The problem with her E is that it has to scale with both AD (through ratios) and AS (through the way it charges). Also anyone with mobility can duck out as soon as it gets put on them. Combined with the Q nerf from not too long ago she doesn't really seem to have any good options in lane anymore. Plus she no longer counters the likes of Sona and Soraka...

That said her mid game is a lot stronger, the burst she gets with a W onto a fully charged E is absurd. She can pop an ADC at half health with an E>4 Autos>W>Ult combo. And stacking lots of AD (110% bAD ratio) on her means her burst carries through to the later game.

I think a CD buff to her Q at later levels and a small base damage buff to her E at early levels would bring her around.

had to look up what exacerbated meant and i do agree with that she has longer cooldowns that almost any other adc and yeah pretty much everything you said is true

Psst... Tristana is a late-game hypercarry. She still is. She's also still one of the safest ADCs in the game with her jump and knockback to peel for herself. Champs need a weakness SOMEWHERE, and she has everything it takes to endure her weak early game and get to her powerful late game. I fail to see the issue. If anything she's much closer to balanced now than she ever was.

Oh one of the people who complained about not being able to kill Tristana which probably caused the update in the first place she isn't overpowered you just have to know how to kill her. they basically replaced her weak mid game with a weak early game. People who always complain about not knowing how to beat a champ and keep dying to them are the reason they make champs specifically to counter those champs and nerf champs you complain about

Yes, her early game is weak. She can't win many trades and she's sub-par at most everything. She's also insanely safe in lane due to her jump, and once she hits 6, her ult. I never said she wasn't weak early... I said she's got the perfect kit for surviving until her late-game power-spike when she turns into an inescapable damage god. Compare her to other "hyper carry" adc's like Vayne and Jinx and she's markedly safer than either one, which makes her less likely to get beat down during her weak points. Safe champs that become insanely scary late are a per peeve of mine.

She still needs some fine number tuning, but I really like the way she plays now. I do wish the E passive wasn't so awkward now though.

I find that large amounts of attack speed help with setting up her E+W

SIlentBlade451 votes

Yeah but i'm not going to go into a super overpowered multi ability combo early game

Nope. Don't get me wrong, Tristana's early game is much weaker now in exchange for the now more interesting kit she has. She absolutely wrecks tower campers with her new E.

She has an ad scaling skill that deals aoe damage and turrets, I'm pretty sure shes got a substantial buff.

SIlentBlade451 votes

if you're talking about the passive on her E she had that before the update

Rework on par with Gragas. Gutted her. Removed her identity as a hyper late game carry.

Removed her identity.... She's has 3 of the same abilities. Now she no longer has oppressive grievous wounds that are insane utility at any point in the game on a late game hyper carry and her late game is even better because her new E is strong. The problem with Tristana is people are used to being able to bully with their "weak" early game where as every other late game champ can't bully even early game champs and then get out safely.

Her role was so undefined before that she never had a weakpoint. But she did scale extremely well.

Changing her E fixed her into a late game powerhouse with a defined weak early game instead of a situationally weak early game.

LOL this guy above me has no clue.

They removed roughly 40% of attack speed from her, as well as attack range....which are what made her a hyper carry. You are seriously clueless.

Alright all the crap people are talking about with her being late game carry, you obviously haven't played enough tristana, I mained trist before her rework and a bit after. After her rework they completely took out her late game "hyper" carry potential she had, and made her late game on par with some of the caster type adc's. This was definitely a nerf, there's no way for u to win ur lane on your own unless it's with a good support, who carries you, the only thing trist is amazing at with the rework is killing towers, but with that op second turret even that's hard to do. Idk what riot was thinking but they definitely were listening to the people who always complained about tristana being op before and completely destroyed her. She's not dominate at all. She's more of a support dmg type, tower killer. That's all. I stopped playing her after around 40game of the rework. Smh
