I was thinking of changing from a mid one trick to possible top and maybe adc, but i dont really know how these certain roles work, so someone please tell me how to smoothly transition and become a better player!!!![sg-janna]

Depends on the roles.

From mid to ADC might be a bit rough. I'd suggest you take a more spellcaster kind of ADC, like Ezreal, or go from mid to support to ADC (which, while taking longer, is far smoother, as mid and support have a good number of similarities, while being a support gives you ADC experience by observation).

you should learn jungle. mainly because you will see what top is doing good at and what bot is doing good at. You will also see how bad habits form like making someone gankable/over-extended. not to mention adc is a hard role to learn and be good at. If you end up having good people on your team or on your enemy team, look what they do.

TOP lane is mainly controlling waves. You will notice if you choose top that if you are spending your resources to farm you may be the underdog in the match up. so you may decide to lvl your trading abilities vs your wave clear abilities.

ADC is tough but probably the easier role depending on your support. If you know how to trade well without putting yourself in too much danger ADC is easier. many people who one trick don't really want to rely on someone else. So adc might not be the best choice.

Anyway you may learn how to control minion waves while you are jungling, especially if you communicate that you want to go there. There's just a "Eye" for taking advantage that you get as a jungler.I think that is a better calling to you, it was for me.

I wouldn't change at all.

Mid and Jungle are the strongest lanes right now by a significant margin.
