Tanky. Great engage. Really rewards you for using his abilities. Good damage for a tank (and can be a viable bruiser). Really he's what brought me back into my tanking mindset, which is a lot better for helping my carries rather than trying to be another carry.
I'm experimenting with more tanks. So far I'm liking Nautilus and I'm giving Maokai a try. I might even pick up Sejuani again.
I still need to get better with Leona.

I love zed. He was my 1st champ (after the default ones ofc) and he went with me till where I am now. Whenever I'd like to change tho, Ekko goes any lane for me. Even support.

He's a polar bear...a polar bear with a mustache and a police uniform...how do you sleep at night not thinking this is awesome? He was my go-to top laner even before the skin came out. Flashy bullshitters trying to show off mechanics they think they have, then get their heads bitten off. FeelsGoodMan.
Jungle: 
Ancient Golem is a thing of the past, but I still go full-tank because I like how it feels.
Mid: 
From the moment I tried out her kit for the first time a few years ago, I instantly fell in love and she's been a favorite ever since.
ADC: / 
Vayne because Doublelift, and Trist because Dragon Tamer - best skin in the game and you're a heartless monster if you try to kill me while using it.
Sup: Do you even praise the sun?
Overall favorite is Ahri.
Gameplay-wise is very obvious. (hint it's totally not my IGN) Nothing is more hilarious than trying to outsmart big shits using my purple magicks, while never having to do significant damage and still get to annoy the crap out of people.
Thematic-wise

Even thought I barely play ADC/Support those two are what usually works for me down bot lane.
For Kassadin, when I first played him I couldn't get the hang on him so I refunded him and bought Talon... Of course after a while Talon got boring for me so I saved up to get Kassadin again and he's my second most mastered champ next to Nocturne. Plus it's so much fun to play him and it feels good when you are able to outplay someone really hard.
As for Noc, I've always loved his visuals, his skills... that and the fact that he's rarely played but oh so good. As well as that, he has decent early-mid game since his W and Q give free stats, giving him a dueling advantage.
And Shen because he's such a safe laner and you can taunt people under tower if they decide to be cocky and start sieging. That and it always feels good to get praise from your teammates when your ultimates are on point.
