The problem is people get auto-filled into support. Well, surprise! people don't queue support because they are awful at it. Today I got autofilled support. Great, I thought 30 minutes and -20lp inbound. Then I was like screw it, I'm dodging not losing a game because I cant carry from support. I waited my penalty and re-queued. Then we get a zed main that gets auto-filled to support. My god just increase the queue times and put a support in the support slot. Someone else dodged (not the guy that picked zed as support, the monkey) and the toxicity is paid forward.
In bronze, silver gold and plat it simply doesnt matter if you wait 5 minutes or 2. I would MUCH rather wait a couple of extra minutes to get the position I want and let everyone else do the same than get into a game and someone troll picks support....or gets butthurt and dodges at the end of the picks thus wasting MORE time...or, the best one, plays support and feeds the enemy adc so hard you cant win the game without a global internet outage.
