Can someone please teach me how to play Eveylnn or Shyvana?

I use to play Shyvana and Eveylnn season 4 but now i don't understand how to play Eveylnn or Shyvana no matter how i build her. Nothing has been changed for Shyvana but since so many other top laners are being changed i feel she can't trade easily or do enough damage early. the only times where i have been successful as playing Shyvana is in the jungle hoping i don't get counter jungled really early and hope the jungle monsters don't kill me. I'm probably just bad but I'm still trying my best to play her because I personally find Dragons to be really cool. I miss Evelynn she cannot survive in the jungle or in lane. Now that the pink ward have infinite extension time eveylnn can't even really gank even with the fact she has no hard cc. Riot can you please do something about it?
