Nasus

I think Nasus kind of lures people into playing him in a way that is unhealthy for the game. I see people in solo q picking him excepting to carry the game 50 minutes in with his 1k stacks on Q or w/e, so they split push until they get to that point not helping the team that much or even make them care about only farming. All the other champions who can stack infinitely Veigar Sion Thresh and maybe a couple others are different because you can buy the stats that they gain. You can't buy Nasus Q stacks. I would like it if somehow Nasus didn't encourage this type of play. I think the thing that makes it worst is that at the end of the game if the Nasus wins to a 20 min surrender, The Nasus will complain about not being able to farm up to the point of 1 shotting squishies with a Q.

Nasus definitely needs a rework. Besides being a ticking time bomb only delayed by having someone attend to him the whole game, his whither is pretty crippling for being a click CC.

If a Nasus player is split pushing with 1k stacks they are doing something horribly wrong.

Here's how I judge what I should be doing as Nasus, based on stacks.

<300: Farming and mostly avoiding trades with my lane opponent. 300-500: Actively trading and pushing to take towers with some minor team fighting here and there. 500-800: Full on team fighting. 800+: Worrying the game will actually let my opponents reach the point where I can't carry as Nasus anymore.

Everyone has their own system, however those who can't get past the solo push phase for any reason are the problem, not Nasus.

The only healthy aspect of Nasus is that he teaches people that farm is the most important thing.

The reason why he's popular is his power spike, and most people do not know to deny Nasus farm until late game when it's too late. Top laners that make him watch his farm go to waste, and punish him each time he goes in for CS, don't have a problem against him. However you have to make a judgement call if it's more important to babysit the Nasus and AFK farm top with him, or roam potentially helping other lanes snowball. For some it's better to roam because that wither can become too crippling to play against.
