Every now and then I get the occasional 0/20/0 potatoes in my team who never listen to the team calls and just wonder off and die. I always report for negative attitude just cause the unskilled player report doesnt do shit. Can there be a real penalty that will prevent me from getting matched with the same people again?
Nothing. It literally doesn't do a single thing lol. It is there as a vent for your frustrations, nothing more.
i really hope it affects mmr. cuz i tend to reporyt people as unskilled if they were unskilled but did nothing wrong, didnt flame, maybe even apologised after game.

All it does is allow the reporting player to vent. There are no consequences to being reported for unskilled.
Nothing dangerous for reported player. This option is made for fixing matchmaking system.
It actually drops your MMR a bit in normals, not sure if the same goes for ranked, guessing it isn't the same because people could just drop everyone's MMR for no reason.
