Skill-Based Garen Design Concept

Decisive Strike as a melee skill shot. Garen does a short dash and brings his sword down in a diagonal direction. This could be implemented at half speed of a normal dash or any speed that would require precise timing. Successfully connecting with an enemy results in a half second stun or immobilization such as a half second of a powerful slow.

Courage as a skill block. This could be accomplished by allowing Garen to parry a non auto attack single target ability that is a skillshot or direct target ability with a parrying animation. With a cool down such as twenty seconds Garen would have to anticipate when to use this to succeed at mitigating damage. Possibly even riposting the parried ability randomly, directly from where it came, or have a half second timer where Garen could aim the direction with mousehover and discharge by hitting Courage a second time.

Judgement as an area of effect skill shot wave clear. All damage condensed into one 360 degree rotation. Garen would throw back his two handed sword and after a delay such as one second Garen would swing the sword in a 360 degree arc. This would allow Garen to waveclear at will while it still being difficult for Garen to connect with another player. This delay would require that Garen successfully landed a Decisive Strike in order to land a judgement.

Demacian Justice, Garen jumps into the air and brings down his two handed sword crashing into the ground, split a man in half style. There could be two levels of damage for the ultimate. A base amount of damage and a max amount attained by gaining a set number of charges. The charges would be attained by successfully blocking abilities with Courage. This could even be one level of damage turned to true damage upon attaining charges.

Preferably with abilities that have crit scaling as they currently are.

Uhm garen should be a low skill champion, we need those for new players.

It takes very little "skill" to use a skill shot effectively. Once you learn how to land a skill shot you can use any skill shot in the game.

Real skill is about game knowledge and how you apply it. Good players let their muscle memory handle mechanics while they focus on other, more important things.

To put it simply adding your changes to Garen would simply ruin him, and do nothing to increase the skill required to play him.
