Champion Mastery Additions - Summoner Icons & Banners
With the addition of the Champion Mastery system, Rito has given new opportunities to express our love for certain champions, -or all if you love collecting/accomplishing everythin'- Seeing that we don't really acquire anything other than a badge and emote in-game, I was thinking there should be a bit more to it for the levels presented now, and possibly the future.
Starting off with Summoner Icons, we should be given a Summoner Icon of the champions portrait splash once you hit level 5 -or a higher level once added-. There could be a small issue with the champion icons mixing with other icons and just becoming a giant mess, but that could easily be fixed with a tab system where you select your Summoner Icon. -Which could be advised since in the near future we might be getting icons that affect in-game kills and so forth. Would be a lot more organized- I for one have always wanted a Thresh or Vi icon ever since I saw Rito starting to release icons every few patches.
Moving onto the banners, as of right now the only way to get rid of that Hooded man in your summoner profile is to use the Ultimate Skin's icons. Would be nice if the Champion Summoner Icon's would be able to change the banner to the splash art of the champion you leveled to 5. Not only adding more diversity but a little flair to people's Summoner Profile pages.
I'll leave two samples of what they would look like, but overall it would be nice to have since the little things do make the game that much better.
