Umm Placements Are dog Poo..?

So I just finished playing my placements for Season 7. Silver 4 | Season 6 7 Wins 3 Losses. Bronze 3 | Season 7

Now, I played all 50% duo/solo. My buddy Silver 5 | Season 6 4 Wins 6 losses | Bronze 2

So tell me how. I get placed lower than him. If I had a better set of placement games, Had higher ranked than him last season, and 70% win-rate over 40%.

Can someone explain?? like realistically.. That doesn't make sense?? I should've been at least silver.. Right?

People say oh, you should be able to carry yourself. My LAST placement game we won the game by level 6, under 10 minutes because some YASUO dc'd after 3 mins and they let us open mid. How do you climb if in Bronze/SIlver this happens, AS IM RIGHTING this in my game. I've got a Zac Mid and a Kindred jungle with ignite.

Riot isn't helping us players ACTUALLY good enough to climb in Gold/further Because were stuck here.

pre-season ranked still affects your MMR, he might have had a higher MMR going into the placements despite having a lower rank last season.

edit: I mean the time after your rank is locked, but you can still play ranked

Your actual MMR before placements was lower than your rank.

Your previous rank being Silver 4 was your placement yes, but you ended the season at Silver 5 with 4LP. You are always going to place at least one Division lower, but most case you will be place in the previous tier and a divs few lower.

But still. you don't get those kind of games in Higher Elo. For someone that just won another, 8-3. WITH that troll ass team was a Miracle. I've learned to not type, don't trust anyone only focus on yourself, and farm. Now. What ELSE does it take. What does someone have to do, I play days in and days out. COUNTLESS Hours since season 1 on main. Learning and practicing. After this hot streak of 8-3 watch. tomorrow I'm gonna lose like 4 in a row because they games are UNCARRYABLE.
