Why am I getting punished for my teammate's spam?
Why is it I get muted when my teammate decides to spam his role in champ select? Yeah I get turning off the chat is a great way to stop his idiotic spam but why punish me?

Because riot doesn't care about what they said, they only care for what you said, if you were muted chat logs were probably given, pls give those , I like reading them for enterta.... for information. Thx ^_^
You're being punished for your actions in retaliation to his, not for his actions.
