Master Yi suggestion

Good day everyone! I want to suggest someting. Please take a second to read it!

In a recent patch, Master Yi got his Alpha Strike Bonus Minion Damage removed. This was a really well-thought nerf I have to admit, since people were funneling and farming lanes alot. But what about Master Yi top or mid? Now I can't clear a minion wave with my Q anymore! Not even when my ability is level 5! Master Yi was not great laner before that either, but now its so much worse now and it makes my champion unplayable on lane :(

Only thing I could think of is - setting a condition. If player does not have smite then he will have Bonus Minion Damage on Alpha Strike (like he used to), but if player does have smite - it stays like it is now. No bonuses.

An option is that Riot could make it like Akali's Q, where it gains the bonus damage at rank 5 (thereby making funneling still almost worthless on him, due to it being locked behind level 9 at the earliest), while it'd help him a bit in lane and with clearing waves late-game.

However, I doubt Riot would bother, given that bringing junglers into lane tends to be either extremely difficult (due to their kit not working outside of the jungle very well) or extremely cancerous (due to mechanics they need to jungle making them extremely oppressive in a lane). It may be best to just leave him as a jungler.

Just wait till preseason. They said they would have a better fix to funnel then. So with that it mind he might see that come back at some point in preseason.

The manacost reduction is very welcome change that it had to be done long time ago

You don't need to bonus damage to minions at all. During laning phase you should learn how to deal with your opponents more and spend less time on farming minions waves. Alpha Strike Caster minions will almost one shot them

If you really struggle with minions clear that much take item 3087 with item 3095 or get item 3077
