Riot needs to do something about the late game Turrets.

Seriously Turrets at lvl 18 dont do nothing anymore for defense. they should scale much better then that late game. Way to easy to kill from anybody. Riot needs to do something as to Scale target player for their weakness. Give the defending team a chance. Team fights break out under turrets and can do absolutely nothing to the player. This can change a game specially when there is an AFK or a Rage quiter. so many people complain about Turrets never doing their job late game. Why do Turrets only do their part for the first 1-10 levels and completely useless for the remaining of the game? Riot buffs buffs buffs Champions, Buffs items, create new items, etc. and forgets that turrets will just simply lose their power late game. Maybe Turrets can scale off Enemy overall Kill ratios or something. But no matter what, this needs to get fixed.

Please Riot, Please

They're not supposed to. The game is supposed to end.

I'm inclined to agree here. Turrets don't scale because players are supposed to outscale the turrets. The current thought process is that early game, turrets protect players. Late game, players protect turrets.

Not in LCS they don't. In pro play 3 man level 2 turret dives are meta, nothing the poor Dyrus/Faker can do about getting killed each time they return to lane and the aggressing team rarely gets punished for it.

Of course. LCS players have practiced managing turret aggro, but that doesn't diminish the point at all. The fact that 3 players are required to kill one person is a testament to the turret's strength, not its weakness. Furthermore, you've guaranteed seen the LCS plays where players fail at doing this, and the defending player gets a kill 1v3, or at least trades one back. That's the point of the turret. I'm assuming Riot didn't intend turrets to be a completely safe haven.

Fine i see your point but Turret should defend itself. we should protect inhibitor if we have the protect anything. i mean common. its stupid waste of space for all those turrets in Nexus area for not to do absolutely nothing late game.

OK i understand what you mean but still they need to have more power late game. most team fights late game just gets outgunned by the enemy and turrets just doesnt give out enough power regardless. there can be literally a full minute of a turret beating on somebody and still the enemy team can out perform defending team regardless. Why not give Turrets area damage against target enemy (Champion ONLY) within a certain area radius causing enemy to avoid being hit? this way its fine being under powered. This makes enemy be more aware of turret under team fights.

I think Riot likes the games being around 30 minutes long. The fact that they sometimes go to 50+ is already nauseating. :P

if that was the case then make Surrender at 15 mins. with all the buffs lately it doesnt take more than 8 mins for somebody to be fed. then Turrets would still be nothing

You hvae to protect turets not other way around.Thats the point of the game.Push turets and destroy nexus.

Turrets aren't meant to be Jesus your lord and savior. If turrets maintained their early game strength games would literally never end.
