Fiora rework news

So we first got news or Guinsoo working on a rework for Fiora about 10 months ago, then in July Morello confirmed that it was on hold. As a huge fan of Fiora, I'd love to hear if she is being worked on or not. Her concept/character has always been my favorite in league, but her kit has left a lot to be desired. She has very little to outplay opponents with, besides timing her skills well. I know Riot has acknowledged she needs work for years now, but so far, she's had very few kit changes. Crossing fingers for Rework updates!

She's one of those champs that was rushed out to meet a deadline imo. Her kit is just a bunch of stuff thrown together. She needs a gapcloser check a defense check a steroid check. There's nothing creative about her kit which is a damn shame because her theme is so cool. Originally they were going to also animate the parry dagger to work with her riposte. Wow cool I thought when I saw that on her back. Too bad it's just for show and does nothing. :( On her headmistress skin they just opted out of texturing the knife on her back because I guess they don't plan on giving it an animation ever.

If they ever reworked her I would be so happy. As much as people hate Yasuo I really love his potential outplays and how his kit just flows together. If they could give Fiora the same treatment while keeping a unique identity that'd be awesome.

As of now I don't feel skillfull playing as her. If I get fed that is nothing to do with my mechanical skill. I'm just pretty much mashing keys together at that point. It's a very unsatisfying way to carry the game.

One thing that I would completely change is her ultimate (imo) It's boring and unrewarding. You press R and go grab a drink. There's no interaction. It could have timing windows where you can use each stack of blade waltz like Ahri's spirit rush? Or maybe it should just be deleted for something more interesting. As of right now it's just a boring channel skill.

I agree. I see Yasuo as a kit next to Fiora's and it's night and day how his mobility and short q skillshot can outplay opponents while with all you need to do is make sure you time your ult before you die and to hold your second q till after they use their mobility. I wish I liked his character as much as I enjoy Fiora's. I own all of her skins, but haven't played her much since early last season, because of her boring kit.

She's surprising not bad in the jungle right now. But what Fiora thinks jungle camps are worthy opponents?

I like Fiora's kit the way it is. I'm glad it hasn't been changed.

I'd like to know what Guinsoo's been up to though.
