What are your thoughts on Kayle?

Some time ago I got from rerolling skins a permanent Pentakill Kayle shard. It did hype me up that I actually got a skin that had been the signature for the latest Pentakill trailer and it did look good ingame. But overall playing her didn't bring me much enthusiasm. The kit has some truly useful and unique abilities that other champions have conventionally, like an armor/mr shred, invulnerability and a auto attack range increase with AoE damage, but these abilities have little to no synergy between each other or even are essential to play this champion (in this case the E). Her kit feels plain being only targeted, instant effect (making her learning curve and mastery being only based on common game knowledge) and very reliant on getting items to have a serious impact in the game, somewhat close to the old Aatrox kit, only in the sense that only his Aatrox's passive and W went to become the most important tool he had, being the Q, E and ultimate situational abilities to fill the gaps. Of course Kayle's signature ability is her E, being the one that makes her do the most amount of damage in her kit and scales with AD, AP and AS at once. Her passive also works along her E since its strikes count as auto attacks and amplify her and her team's damage output to enemies affected by it. But Kayle is caged for this reason, she's so reliant on using this ability and being ranged that her gameplay style is narrowed to be a ranged full damage AP carry, she can't fully perform as an AD carry because her early cooldowns and mana costs on her E on early levels to keep it up everytime it is needed, nor as a support because of her poor early damage, lack of cc and being too relevant on items, nor as a midlaner for the lack of burst damage and mobility and nor for a jungler because of her low sustain, high mana costs and few utility early on for her team. Kayle now belongs to the toplane for being a champion that can't satisfy standard champion requirements for other roles, having the task to push lanes, farm and hoping that the game lasts long enough for her to do considerable damage, like every other champion for default. Because of this, Kayle doesn't get the attention of the community. There are champions that have specific roles and focused utilities, Kayle has a lot of mixed utilites, but none come after the other, as to why she has nothing to reflect an actual role that belongs in this current metagame, "Jack of all trades, master of none". With these two reasons (the lack of depth in her kit and the set of abilities pointing to extremely different purposes to define a role for her) Kayle is a champion that even having a unique set of abilities ironically she isn't somewhat near to be a unique champion in the sense of gameplay, a champion that gives an exceptional idea of its character to be easily matched in complexity and depth to other champions. Overall, the aesthetic of this champion is a unique idea, and even though her lore isn't very deep, she still has a place in the League universe. I can't say there hasn't been champions like this in the past, but this champion needs to give players a reason to play her.
