Disconnected 1 minute before end of a (Victory) game, does that affect my grade?

So basically, I've been trying to score and S- or higher for Nasus, I went 4/0/8 in a blind pick game, we won but my computer shut down right before we went back to seize their base. Overall I had pretty crappy values for minions - lowest on my team but 3rd in gold. I didn't get a token so obviously didn't get the S- but did that affect my grade?

I don't think that has any affect on grade. If you getting dc'd affected it, that's a bit silly.

Riot has been pretty Hush-Hush about the grading system it seems, but I guess the best way to think about it is like...

Objectives > Farm >/= Kills.

Truthfully, I've seen Mid laners get S- or higher as they've been like, 1/0 or 3/1. I think that kills are important in the system, but definitely not as important as making sure you are able to keep up in farming, and getting those objectives with your team. As top lane that's a little bit harder, but you should probably be making sure to look for the chances to teleport and help fight or even get objectives.

Objectives win games more than kills. It's been proven time and time again, I've won games where my team has been 5-10 kills down, and we've won just based on the fact we got more objectives.

If you play for kills over objectives, it's going to be much, much harder to get that S- and higher than you want it to be.

I guess the TL;DR of it is to make sure you are keeping up in farm, it's probably fair to say you should have around 200 by 25 minutes , if you can get higher, good for you! Make sure you aren't just being a recluse and sitting top lane, because then you aren't participating in the objective aspect. And No, just pushing top all game probably isn't good enough.
