@Riot Any Updates on Gangplank?

I know he has a rework coming down the line at some point in the future. I was curious if Riot has any word as to what direction they plan on taking him? Gangplank is one of my favourite champions mainly because of the versatility(some would disagree with this descriptor) of his current kit and the variety of ways he can be built and played. There's Manaplank, Tankplank, Bruiser Gangplank, AP GP, and the equally loved and loathed Critplank. Will we see the same versatility post rework or will these alternative aspects be sacrificed in order to make a more streamlined, focused kit geared for a specific role?
