Fizz is still super frustrating to see

Fizz is still out of control and its near impossible to handle him unless you mystically pick the perfect counter to him. I hate being 3rd pick just to blindly go into a fizz and no matter what happens he gets crazy fed. Sometimes I will be aware hes in the game and pick something against him someone else will feed him beyond reason. You can build him literally anything except MAYBE ADC and he will carry the game on his own. This stupid champion ruins all my games and is the most frustrating thing I ever have to face. How is a champion with a 5 second cd on his basic ability that making him untaretable by anything that isn't ignite or poison AND burst damage to 100-0 you while he's building full tank even allowed? Also why does his trickster have a slow on it? It's strong enough to half health you why does fizz need a slow on that broken ability. In addition to all that WHY IN GODS NAME DOES HIS ULT ADD BONUS DAMAGE WHEN HE CAN OBLITERATE ANYONE ANYWAY AND HAVE A CRAZY STRONG SLOW ON IT? You can literally not escape him you can't hug turret, you can't fight him, and unless you have enough damage to kill him and are tank enough to survive his ridiculous burst he will be running the game over with almost no effort. This needs to fixed. adding 1 second to his trickster at rank 5 is not going to dull him in any way.

play him....you said somethings that are not true. I feel you don't understand the champion. play him and see how broken he really is...

I have played him numerous times and he's the easiest champ I've ever played. Even the first few games with him I would just steam roll and no one can stop me unless I'm dumb and dive 1v5. But towers were basically non existant to me. I could almost 100-0my lane opponent every time with little to no items land ult and they have no way to escape me. Even flash isn't enough thanks to trickster. I understand cc is how you stop him but you shouldn't have to dedicate an entire team comp to stopping him.

The problem I have with Fizz is his ability to build tank and not be punished for it. His seastone trident lets him get away with it because of it's % health damage that is deceptively strong.

I agree with that, but also if he's building tank and he lands his chum the waters on you you're dead because of the unnecessary damage amp and a stupid strong slow for an assassin.

I mean since when is it considered to be unbalanced when you have to counterpick a champion? Rather than complaining that you have to counterpick, you should instead focus on perfecting that counterpick. This is what separates Low tier players who don't put in the work and High tier players that are constantly looking for solutions.

A counter pick is an acceptable thing in most cases but when a champion gets a huge buff due to no longer being able to QSS his ult, his core build path now gives him cdr cap and his ability to build tank and still assassinate back lines and escape makes him a problem. He doesn't need to be nerfed he needs to be reworked to make his kit less toxic to play against.

If you really want a quick solution then just pick one of his hard counters like akali. Fizz doesn't have the largest line up of counters but those who do counter him are impossible for him to play against.

Honestly, I'm not so much worried about assassin Fizz as I am tank Fizz. Since Tank Fizz can basically do everything assassin fizz can do but better and with more reliability.

At that point it still comes down to proper counter picking. Get a lot of lock down and a DPS truck like Vayne and he should melt if you don't bone your CC.

Uh no he might be good for long fights but when i want the adc gone NOW ap fizz will always be better you know like thats his job?

Fizz seemed to really benefit from Riot's new philosophy of sprinkling CDR all across so many items. With both Zhonya's and Abyssal providing it, he can effectively itemize for his lane match up while nailing down his core stats. I think the six seconds of damage amplification is a problematic mechanic in the age of the nerfed QSS; especially when you consider the number of supplemental damage sources that have been added to the game.

I dont mind when a champion can be counter picked to gain an advantage i think it only becomes a problem when you HAVE to counterpick if you hope to stand any chance.

That's how the game is designed. If you could simply pick whoever you wanted to and then win then what would be the point of unique champions? Meta wouldn't matter, the game wouldn't take any skill, and there wouldn't be a point in designing complex champions.

The game is not designed to force you to play champs you dont want to play. The game is designed so that some champions have advantages over other champions. You can climb forever with just one champion and people have done it. Unique champions purpose is to fulfill a role in a team comp, to use their unique strengths. The game itself takes skill not matter the champion pool weather diverse or not. The problem I have with fizz is that he will FORCE you to play champions you are uncomfortable with if you even know you're against him and once in game he will most likely dominate you because you're unfamiliar with the few champions that are required to beat him or if you're playing a champion you are familiar with he can dominate you just because he's fizz. TLDR I shouldnt have to be forced to play a champ I dont know just because fizz exists. Counterpicking is for advantages and disadvantages only, not "pick his counter or your team will lose"
