Can our current mastery page be autosaved when the champ select timer hits 0?

If you last pick a champion and need to set up a mastery page fast, it can be difficult to get it in and press the save button, while also checking summoners and such. I've had times where I'm verbally telling my teammate what masteries to take and they don't save it in time so they get next to (or literally) nothing for masteries.
