Ezreal's mystic shot does not apply deathfire touch

even though its stated that damaging abilities apply that, it's not working with mystic shot. would be nice to know weather its a bug or intentional

This is intended. Anything that applies on-hit effects is considered basic attack not an ability. Ezreal's Q and Gangplank's Q are two examples. Ezreal's Q won't proc Luden's Ekko either.

Ezreal's Q doesn't apply spell effects; it does on-hits.

Deathfire applies OnSpell.

Mystic Shot is OnHit.

Honestly, I feel like Deathfire should trigger off any source of damage and Fervor or whatever it's called should get to trigger off single-target spells as well as auto-attacks. Maybe even make Warlord's trigger its heal you deal more than (percentage) of the target's max HP rather than having it tied purely to Crit.

Basically, I would love to see all three of the red capstones being attractive to a much wider range of champions. Right now there really isn't any choice in which one your grab.
