Having a hard time building him right. Any help?

Don't go full glass cannon for starters, build extremely tanky.

finish your core items with those (you should end up buying both the Iceborn or Hydra either way at the end, or replace the Iceborn with Sunfire Cape.
Afterwards you buy 1 armor and 1 MR item, and one free slot for more defence (GA, Thornmail, Maw works fine) to top off your build.
My usual final build is: 
I personally think hes a better jungler and in the jungle I get Golem, Randuins, Spirit Visage, Boots, and any two lifesteal items on him because it's fun to be a lifesteal tank
Just build crit and attack speed. Bork for lifesteal.
