What to do Mid Game?

So I'm an ADC/Supp main, Silver 3. Usually I win laning phase by 10 or so cs and maybe I get a kill. However, I don't know what to do with that lead. Everyone starts roaming and grouping for towers, but then the enemy also groups to protect their tower and we just kind of stand off. It becomes a series of rotations until the other team doesnt rotate with us and we finally get something, or we mess up and the enemy gets a lead. I tried watching youtube videos and they all basically said "go mid and take tower", but the enemy team is also trying that. Sometimes I'll stay in lane if I'm winning by enough and just force bot tower, but I cant do that every game. What can I do that a silver player wouldn't think of?

Well I hate to say i disagree with Treeofwar but i do because you say your an adc support main. Now when your ahead adc and support should do different things. If your Adc and your ahead by little bit and mid game hits. The best thing to do is push your bot lane to there tower. You and your support should be able to to bully the bot laners and either kill one or force them to back. If you can do this and you still have health then Roam to your midlane,(unless enemy midlaner is fed). When you go mid your supp should follow. If the enemy mid has pushed lane then you and your support come in for the gank to kill or force him to go back. (Remember not to chase under tower if there low). If Your mid has lane pushed then just help him push even farther and get some damage on the mid tower. This will cause the enemy bot lane, who you killed or forced to recall. To then come mid as well, at this point this is when you said that everyone just groups mid and has a stand off where nothing happens. So 2 things could happen at this point. 1 your engager comes in to start a team fight. For example lets say you have a malphite whos comin mid to join everyone, in this case you wait for him to engage and then you stay in the backline of the team fight, (obviously). However if you notice that no one is going to engage and there jsut gonna stand there, THEN you go back down to bot lane which is now completely empty and you continue to get more cs and push lane. Once you push lane to tower the enemy adc and support should then go back botlane to defend again and at this point you roam back to mid for a team fight. I hope this makes sense you cuz its hard to explain with text.

But essentially to sum things up: when your adc just remember to always stay in the backlines no matter what even when your ahead, cuz no matter what stage in the game your always a glass cannon. Also always look for oppurtunites to get cs. Instead of sitting in mid waiting for a fight go to bot or top lane when theres minions and get cs. Even if you know theres a fight about to start and you dont wanna go all the way to a lane, just go in the jg and take a camp like raptors.

Im gonna keep this one shorter since alot of what i said about adc applies to support. Now im not sure what kind of support you play because different types do different things. if your a babysitter like soraka, then stay with your adc 90% of the early and mid game. If your a tank support then when you roam mid be the one to engage the teamfight as long as you make sure your adc and midlaner are competent,(only if you have a lead or know youll win fight). The only thing with support is to keep in mind that if the enemy adc and supp go bot while your adc is mid, then leave your adc and defend bot tower, dont let the enemy adc get cs.

To sum up support roam with your adc but also dont let the enemy adc get free cs while your adc is roaming and no fight is happening.

Im sorry I wrote so much lol let me know if you actually read it. If you got any questions just message me and/or add me Goku7474 good luck with your next games! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Get all the outer towers down and get any non-wind dragon that you safely can. Contest the other team if you can win the fight outright. Basically stick with your team and start taking objectives. If you are a late game team and the other team is early to mid game, try not to force any fights unless really fed, if you are an early to mid game team and the other team is more late game oriented you have to finish them off soon so contest a dragon or bait a baron.

Don't forget to keep up your CS.
