Gangplank would be so much more viable if this happened

If his Q had a lowered cool down for each point that was put into it. It would make him so much better. It is his only AD damage scaling ratio. It wouldn't be overboard (hehe) to make the cool down lower from would it? Suggestions: Currently: 5/5/5/5/5 -5/4.5/4/3/2.5 -5/4.75/4.5/4.25/4 -Have some in build cdr (ex. Xin zhao q or ez q)

No the only problem is mobility creep with all his ability casting stopping his movement

I don't think that'd really increase his viability all that much, but I wouldn't object to a cooldown adjustment.

That makes not a lot of difference tbh. If you're looking for a damaging Q, it's all going to be you critting someone for half their hp late game.

No.

Lets not buff mindless crit poke that you don't even have to aim. This would just make his laning more oppressive in certain matchups, and also make him a lot harder to shove out and promote the mindless playstyle that is getting him reworked anyway.

The only buff that is reasonable is to allow his QWER to be used while moving and possibly also while autoattacking without interrupting either.

Imho his Q is a decent overall spell right now. It's GP's kit that needs some tweaks. His encouraged gameplay style is: get in danger zone to poke with Q, prevent retaliation with W, be as slippery as possible with your high movement speed from E, finish off people with passive + R.

The problem is: on the long run this loses fun-magnitude (you're aesthetically manly but quite coward in gameplay) and is quite weak as a whole (mobility, airborne CC and double CC counter him aaaaaand, wow, they're omnipresent).
