In need of item knowledge.

So I think its been 2 years since I played this game and a lot has changed. If i can recall I think the last patch i played was shortly after they did away with Deathfire Grasp...? So I noticed they changed a lot of items and characters. Im slowly getting used to the character changes... but I have no clue what items are good currently... I play mostly support and have been relearning adc... Anyone feel like giving me some item education on what items to absolutely buy every game, not buy, or buy on occasion? Thanks!

Item builds change patch by patch depending on buffs /nerfs. Look up pro builds for x champion you want to play. If majority are building same items, then it's probably correct since pros usually are the first to find broken synergies and most efficient build paths.
